This is extremely encouraging. As a Christian, I certainly don't look for reward, except the reward of knowing someone was blessed for whatever I give, be it time, money, or even blood. This, I haven't been so quick to do because I've been afraid with my anxiety it might be too much for me. I would just care to know that I'd have the courage to go through with it, no matter which route I was asked to take. You don't know if this registry is worldwide and someone would travel overseas, do you?

@Lavenderrose73 This is great that you are interested. If you ever were chosen as a match, you would not have to travel too far from your home area for confirmatory testing and donation. Something would be set up for you to go to a local large hospital for most of this. In addition, the donor never pays for anything, everything is usually taken care of by the patients insurance. Hope you register.

Don't be fooled by the number of Donors in this video, it's not that easy - ALL POTENTIAL DONORS, no matter what ethnic origin to their local register are required. IT IS like winning the lottery to be asked to help - to be able to try to save a life, who wouldn't?? Am waiting the outcome of my donotation - it is so incredible for someone to be given the gift of life from a small personal sacrfiice.
