After Effects Neon Sign [Elon Tonight] [No Sound]

This is a motion graphic I created in Adobe After Effects using a tutorial found on the wonderful Creative Cow website.

It utilizes the Wiggler tools to keyframe lights on a neon sign, and the CC Particle World plug-in to generate sparks. It was an intense work-out in terms of parenting, and it took about 3 hours to complete.

The final render, in my opinion, works well, but simply needs sound.

It is currently in use as a motion graphic for Elon Tonight, a student television show at Elon University, which is filming it's pilot episode now.

Brent Edwards is a freshman at Elon University, working towards a degree in Media Arts and Entertainment with a focus in Narrative Cinema.
