The Hunter - Trackin Turkey

This is my video entry for The Hunter in-game Video Competition. In game name Artemis.

I did a Turkey video cause I think they can be a bit hard to hunt, they can be fun to hunt too, but they are my least favorite to hunt cause they can be trouble lol. Turkey have a good eye sight, they can spot you a mile away if you arnt careful which makes it a bit hard to close to them, then you have to start all over again. If you try to lure them in with the turkey call while you are surounded by tall grass, this can be a problem as well because you wont be able to spot the turkey before it has spotted you. And they usually can be found in flocks, one sees you and they all take off!

Once I find an area with Turkey I will look for a small area with little or no grass, at the very least not surrounded by tall grass. Once I find an open spot I will hide in the grass and try to lure the turkey to come on the opposite side of me for a good clear shot. :D

Most of the time I can find a good spot, but sometimes they come up on me too quick and I don't see them until it's almost too late..... which they usually then all fly off. :-/

Guest license is free gun, free hunting for mule deer. Any other guns must be puchased with real money, but when you pay for it its yours to keep.

You don't expect to get everything for free do you? If you did we certainly woulnd't have the online games that we do today, or those awesome game developers. They need to get paid. ;-)

They are nearly impossible to kill. In several hours of trying to get one of these down, I have only seen them two times. Usually they flee when I'm within a few hundred meters, which is way before I can see them. Also they always appear in the woods, not in the open areas, and basically they will always leave when they hear me coming crawling in the bushes. I'm not giving up yet, but soon I will...So not funny never even seeing them.

Turkeys pissed me off during my bear hunt (so much noise grr).

So I packed a shotgun and birdshots to go kill the pesky things... of course, now I can't find the bastards.

Gonna try the same way you did though. Find where they hang out and lure into an open area. Seems they are alot harder to hunt than the pheasants.

@rocooak2 hav u installed directx or watever because i had the same problem but then i downloaded the direct x thing and it works
