Hello everyone, I have a Dionysus Design coaxial mixer new for sale, on Ebay.
It's new, in its sealed envelope.
I just sell it away because I never used it and I'm no longer into rc helis.

Hello ,I'm akhmal from Malaysia , I got 1 Esky Biglama which I has upgraded it to Brusless motor and Esc same brand like yours , everything is good but unfortunately my heli cannot flying with stabil.Could you show me how and what should I do to make my Heli fly like yours ?

dear simon, have you tried Esky EK2-0704B professional gyro (use on my Belt CP CX) on your converted Big Lama? I'm not sure that i'm having a little problem with the gyro on my boardless n brushless big lama. my BL's tail seems to be quite sensitive as i adjust rudder on tx. i use coaxial mixer from dionysus, 25a emax esc and esky 3100kv brushless motor.

I have exactly the same problem Big Lama has been grounded since attempting this i have elimnated every thing and now only the mixer can be at fault i guess ill have to email Dyonysus Designs and see if they will replace this DOA , Is there any other option other than going back to a 3 in 1 as i really miss having a coaxial to fill the gap from larger helis at home?

Also i have used your settings on the mixer and gyro but oddly enough when i set the mixer to 80%, gyro gain 45% only the top blades spin. If i switch it to Mixer 45% to 80% gain the bottom blades does spin fast enough and the helicopter just spins clockwise in flight. I have test all the esc, motors but when i try and turn the helicopter by hand cw the bottom blades dont increase in speed nor does the top blades increase in speed when i turn it ccw. Left and right rudder inputs dont work too

Hi, well i got the new mixer today and i am puzzled again as all it wants to do is spin cw. The top rotor spins faster than the bottom and no matter what i do to the mixer (50%, 45%, even right down) the top rotor spins faster than the bottom. Am i missing something, or what else could it be. I even brought another gyro (Rce-550) and it does the same thing.

@sgbfly I already have and i did buy from them directly. They said "Could you please try plugging servos into the mixer and see if they both move when you move the throttle?" I did that and only one servo worked, hmmm anyway i have ordered another one hoping that this new mixer from them will work properly. Thank for your help and i will keep you posted when i receive another mixer :)
I have this setup but only one motor spins. If i connect the front motor ESC on the pot side of the mixer (both are connected at this time) one that motor spins. If i reverse it and connect the rear motor to the pot side of the mixer, one the rear motor spins. What could be the problem????

@mjaw77 It sounds like your mixer is not working correctly. You have eliminated the motors and esc's as the problem. Now eliminate the gyro by taking it out the set up and plugging the mixer directly into receiver - if it suddenly works then blame the gryo. Test the receiver by plugging in a servo to the rudder channel and making sure it responds to the transmitter. It does however, sound like a mixer fault. You could try adjusting the pot on the mixer. 50% is a good start.

@sgbfly With the motors and esc's i have eliminated them by plugging them one at a time in channel 3 on the receiver. The gyro does initialize however and I have now eliminated the gyro by doing what you said, and it still only spins one motor. Mixer is set at 50%, so it looks like the mixer has decided to not work properly. Why would it stop working after all i had it flying great until now??

@mjaw77 Hi Again, Very puzzling as to why the mixer would stop working - but I'm fairly convinced it has! Bad luck! Did you remove one of the red (live) wires from an esc plug when you plugged it into the mixer so only one BEC is powering the electronics?

@sgbfly Hi again too, I am puzzled too, and yes i have removed one of the red wires from one esc to the mixer. It was all worked before, left it to rest for a few days then the heli would spin in one direction, then after that only one motor works at a time. It has to be the mixer. Btw i downloaded your instruction manual, and it was very simple to understand and provided me a lot of help. Your troubleshooting section didn't mention this problem so that is why i asked for your help.

@mjaw77 I would get in touch with Dionysus Design (if you bought the mixer direct from them). They do respond positively to any problems their customers have. Be aware that sometimes they are rather slow at answering emails!
