nee geen onder houd dat is het man,.
Renault Megane Coupe 1.6 moet net als anderen auto´s zijn onder houd krijgen.
maar als je Renault rijd, die hebben echt zijn onder houd nodig.
en die tik of die klepe die dan zal horen,is?leg er aan hoe je rijd en niet ze longen er uit blazen,gewoon in het nederlands? gezegt trapen met dat ding.
daar zijn ze niet op berekend.wat je ook veel ziet op youtube trapen op dat pandaal,die motor krijg te veel op zijn kiezen,dan trap je gewoon alle lager's er uit. gr

So, this engine has died recently :(
We are not yet shure about the cause, but seems like it ran out of oil, or the oil pump broke. But I bet, it had notning to do with the sound.
This strange sound seems to be a very common problem with 1,4e engines also in the Renault 19 and Clios. Yet, nobody was able to tell, what causes this sound. My bet is a bad valve seat or something with the head.
Anyway, I need to find a new engine now :(
Btw - this is how we got the car, it wasn´t our fault.
