  • @hermesumaster Smart Objects are in photoshop. you can do the similar things in LR because CR and LR are both in-destructive.

  • very good. thank you

  • Just hold alt when doing levels to see where your losing parts of the image...

  • Pretty simple &obvious and yet... so powerful tool.

  • great video .... after watching this what would be the point of not using smart objects?

  • can i do it that same with lightroom and photoshop?

  • Excellent Video Mark!

  • @ashkibala1 I'll be trying this out. Thanks again

  • @wilbertcs Just save the file. When you clicked Edit in Photoshop (the shortcut is Ctrl+E) it asked you if you want to edit the original or make a copy. If you make a copy, then you are editing a copied document so when you are done in Photoshop, just save the file and go back to LR and LR automatically refreshes the document(s). If you again make an adjustment in LR and want to edit in PS,you'll lose your layers and the photo will open in PS as Background. Again, edit and save and go to LR.

  • @ashkibala1 Thanks for the answer. How do I go back from Photoshop to Lightroom so that I can readjust the colors? Or does it just open in ACR like Mark is showing, meaning once in Photoshop, you can't re-adjust it in Lightroom
