In the Mary Tyler Moore TV series, Ted was upset when they canceled "My Mother The Car." Only then did I realize this was a dumb program. I was just a young kid then and thought it was pretty funny! My father was born in 1929, and this program always helped me remember he was created after this 1928 Porter! Greetings from France.

Allan Burns and Chris Hayward, originally writers for Jay Ward's "FRACTURED FLICKERS" [Hayward also wrote "Fractured Fairy Tales" and "Dudley Do-Right" segments for "ROCKY AND HIS FRIENDS" and "THE BULLWINKLE SHOW"], later went on to other series: Burns co-created and supervised "THE MARY TYLER MOORE SHOW" with Jim Brooks, and Hayward worked on "BARNEY MILLER". David Davis later produced Mary's show, and co-produced "THE BOB NEWHART SHOW".
