Enlightenment in simple words is endless joy and happiness.This endless joy and happiness is achieved when you erase " I " and keep "Oneness".Then you wont be effected by any of the worldly sufferings or material things.What u always feel is joy and happiness minus suffering.And there is no time limit such as hundred years or the time taken to hav an instant coffee......

ppl r simply running to him with out even knowing what is enlightenment.....its not a joke....ppl did penance for years in the past...buddha did penance for many years to get enlightened...we humans who are attached to all material things in world...it takes hundreds of years for us to realise...its not coffee to have it instant

this is not enlightenment dear....its not something which u experience only for little time...once u r enlightened u r always in bliss....read about ramakrishna paramahamsa or ramana maharshi....

I would love to hear Swami "G"'s description of Enlightenment. Seeing as how she would have to use language, knowledge, concepts, it would have to be false. How also is she able to know where someone else is and then compare it to her state, without language?
Also 5 enlightened beings? Do they have thier papers :)
