Dick Buttons has class. What he said about Elena Liashenko was right. Elena Liashenko hasn't changed a bit. I love her but she hasnt changed and she wonders why she hasnt been on the podium at worlds and olympics.

Dick button has no class. This girl is a veteran in this sport and has been since before Kwan and stayed much longer than Kwan. She's a beautiful skater. She just does nt have the difficulty to place on the podium. This does not mean she is not special or that she does not put great thought in her training. She will always be one of my favorites and she's truly a beautiful person.

@jovani2293 Oh please, he's absolutely right, she stayed exactly the same and never got better her whole career, that's why she was in 10th after the SP. Sandra is a dumb bitch, trying to make it sound like there's nothing wrong with her skating when it wouldn't score well under the new system. I can't stand her, she sugar coats everything, Scot screams and yells and Dick keeps it real!

I like dick Button's skating knowledge but sometimes his comments are just mean. I know he means to be honest be there is a place for everything but for the last comment is was not the place.

I agree, and I have found this before. He is quite arrogant to other skating techniques...this coming from a country that gave us such gems as the 'flutz'...hmm. Give me Liashenko's lutz any day rather that a lapinski flutz. And the comment about training - simply rude.

Dick Button means well, I think. But he was too harsh on Elena everything he said was so negative, for a viewer watching the Olympics it's not enjoyable to hear him bitch, whin, and moan. Every skater has their pluses and minuses, and Elena gave her best effort.
