@kad3t play New Horizons, the first isn't particularly good, and has almost nothing to do with the second... vague links here and there, but you won't notice a difference.

I played this game until my eyes bled. Beat it with Otto, and Catalina the pirate. One of my favorite games ever. Also the ghegas khan series was awesome. Love classic koei.

SOOOOOOOOOOOOOO Under rated. really an amazing game

@betterinsodapop Agreed. It's just an amazing level of details, captivating plots, politics...

I wish the folks over at Koei would translate the subsequent Uncharted Waters sequels into English and release them in the US. This is my favorite game ever.

Tell you what... I played it for couple of hours only but it was shaping up to be something *different* then your usual jRPG. I really liked it as well and if I ever get enough time to play anything for a longer period of time I will come back to it. Though I wonder whether I should play this or start with the first part and then move on onto this one?

@kad3t Sorry for the late reply. I've personally only played Uncharted Waters 2 and didn't find it problematic at all. Though I know there is some continuation from the first game. Main characters in the first game are older in the UW2 and some of them are like teachers for the new main characters, like the portugese character Rocco. But as I said, no problem at all just playing UW2 because that is the best one. Hope you enjoy it as much as I did, don't know how many hours I played it.. :-D

Actually, I have both and it's not that I don't wanna play it but think it'd be best to play one after another, however given the fact that I don't have much free time on my hands I may not find enough of it for even one of the titles. I do have it on my PSP, on emulation though, so I suppose I can always play it bit by bit when travelling or something...
