@bajabum1987 Yup totally forgot about Lyman..I think MacArthur was not at 100 percent the whole year also..but yeah Cal dominated every part of this game except for on special teams..I am also starting to believe that Tedford is not the coach we thought he was..IMO Rodgers was the main reason for Cal's success.

Something has certainly happened with Tedford, his teams are not as consistently competitive as they were from 2002-2006.5 Look back at his first year, even though they were 7-5, they lost by a CUMULATIVE amount of ~35 points. Now his teams routinely get blown out and lack discipline. We had almost 100 penalties for just shy of 1,000 yards this year; 2nd to worst in D1-A. He has certainly lost some mojo after the heartbreak of 04, 05 and 06. He doesn't look like he's 100% healthy either...

Cal had some great players during this time..I wonder if they had won this game..would they have destroyed Oklahoma in the championship game??

@chosunpeople When Chase Lyman went down in this game, the offense got much weaker. With Chase, we win this game and certainly contend in the NC. Without him, we lose the deep threat but it would have been fun to see what happened. I just posted this because I loved Rodgers clutch performance (a good indicator of things to come) and how SC got outplayed for 4 quarters.
