2008 Team Demolition Derby :: Round 4 Recap

Demolition Derby like no where else! It's Round 4 of the 2008 Team Demolition Derby Tournament of Destruction, presented by Speedway Auto Parts & Wreckers, at Route 66 Raceway in Joliet, IL! The National Championship is all wrapped up even with 1 event remaining on September 20th. The Junkyard Dogs are 4-0, but will they finish a perfect season? Spots 2-5 are wide open and it's going to be a crazy finale to a memorable Team Demolition Derby summer of excitement!

ok so how does this work we dont run these here do you build two or three of the same cars for the different rounds or how does it work?

Have to build enough cars to survive three rounds which would be 12. In 2008 and years prior, only the first race was metric/80s cars. The final two races were open to pretty much everything. This year, only the Final race is an open class. Rarely does a team that makes it to the Finals bring out a car they already ran that night, even if its not damaged. They'll buy/borrow a car from another team that has fresh heavy iron.

Yes that # 06 silver + black car was a clean Mid 70's Classic Buick Rivera. Its on the "KillBillys" team.
