In this video, I show how I made my own background/boarder stamps using glass from picture frames & craft foam (all of which I bought at the dollar store for under $3!!!). The video also includes a few quick demonstrations on using the homemade stamps and what the end results look like. I hope you enjoy the video. Please check out my YouTube channel for more ideas on money $aving craft creations! ;-)

  • Maybe could use a tape, electic or such, to keep those wicked edges under control on the glass?

  • @1sweetbonbon Thanks for your comments :-) The glass is not sharp. The edges have been smoothed out so they are dull and safe to handle :-) TFW Hugs Leanne :-)

  • What glue do I use for the fun foam? Thanks. Carol

  • @1411Carol I used Tombo Metal Liquid Glue...one of my favs!!!! It works for everything lol! TFW ~ Leanne

  • how do you clean your homemade stamps?

  • @yknowgirl Soap and water works well to clean off distress ink, but I also use stamp cleanser for pigment inks. I also rub the stamp on an old towel to help get off the ink. TFW Leanne ;-)
