the music was memerable, the words could be heard, and remembered, and sung along too, now, my body may be old, but my mind is still young, and when i sing the old songs on karaoke, i find the youngster do to. if only our lives were a loop, so that we could keep going back to that rock and roll era. bigken

@boothl232 Yeah strange...must've been some kind of protection rig of the U.S music market.Cliff Richard could easely match Elvis in the rock'n'roll stakes.Thankfully they couldn't keep that up with the advent of the "British Invasion",and reluctantly (6 months later) started playing Beatle records.

@FanofBewitched the late ninteen fifties and all of the nineteen sixties were probably the best times of my life,
but no-one should say that they were born in the wrong times, every time has it's own merits,
my father would have been amazed by computers for instance, as I am!....it's just that the music
isn't anywhere near as good as it was then.....OK...and people seemed a lot nicer! :D

Why didn't I know this man until now. I'm a child of the 60's
& bought ever record I could afford.
He Is Amazing!! His daughters are beautiful & sing too!!
I am 68yrs old - this music brings back those glorious late 1950s days - the jukeboxes in the coffee bars playing al the latest records for a old sixpence lol.
Such happy carefree days everything was new - our own british singers as well as Elvis and other USA Rock n Rollers.

@thcrazyazin totally. The 50's was the best time! From what my grandma told me. She told me so many stories and so many memories. I was born in the wrong time.
