GERMAN WIND-GENERATOR NORDEX AG N-90. [ALQUEIDÃO OF SIERRA, PORTUGAL].

In the parish of Alqueidão of Sierra, municipality of Port of Millstone, were edificated the firsts wind-generators of the region of Fatima. They were made by the german company Nordex AG, model N-90. This model produces 2.300 kW of energy. The tube has 80 meters of height, and the rotor blades have 45 meters of lenght. The new Nordex AG, model N-90, produces 2,5 mW of energy.

Vasco Jorge Rosa da Silva, Georg Schmidt, is a researcher in Local and Regional History, History of Science in Portugal [astronomy], Military History and History of Portuguese Limestone Massif, which includes the Natural Park of Sierra of Air and Lamps. Responsible for reading and transcription paleographic, unpublished, of "Memories of Ourém Parish", 1758. Finishing a doctoral dissertation on the "History of the Astronomical Observatory of the University of Coimbra: 1772-1910". He is also friend of Federal Republic of Germany, FRG.
