People Watching street of LVIV Ukraine

LVIV has become a Cosmopolitan European City you can buy most any consumer type goods there. I shop in LVIV when I need to it is 2.5 hours by train from shegynin or 85 KM. I like LVIV for shopping only & High Speed Internet. I shop METRO a German owned version of Costco / Sams Club that just opened recently. I buy Hamburger, Chicken & Cheese. You cant get ground beef in Mostiska or Chicken Cheese is expensive in Mostiska. Other then that there nothing there for me. I prefer slow quiet village pace of life.

With Groceries in Backpack it is another 2.5 hours evening train ride to Shegynin departing LVIV at 5:30 pm. Then a 1 hour walk to my house in Bystiv with back pack loaded of meat & cheese. So that is a 6 hour day of travel to run for Groceries.
Once you get settled into this pace of life it is easy at first is can be Culture shock

  • for Ukrainians its Your City now but you must remember about heritage that its polish

  • Lwow, not Lviv. Lwow was and always will be essence of Polish culture and Poland. Lwow is built by Poles, not Ukrainians. University is Polish, all great builidings are Polish.

Ukrainians ruined Lwow. It was beautiful city, but now? Looks like shit,,,sad.

  • @Bosirant Are you mad ?? Lviv is heart of Polish culture, science and architecture. Not heart of ukrainians nomads and your russians lords

  • There is difference between settlers and nomads !!!

Soviets bringed as many ukrainians peasants to lviv as it was possible.

Lviv will be always Polish city !!!

  • I'm a Pole, and whole my family comes from Lwów it was ALWAYS and I repeat ALWAYS Polish city, but as the times has come my parents had to move away from home... Now it belongs to Ukraine, but please don't forget... All you see there was created by the hard work of Poles and Jews living there many, many centuries ago. Just to let you know guys.. I'm going back there in next moth to visit my familys Villa house in there.... I feel so sad seeing this beautiful city in this shape.

  • This is a beautiful video in its' way. Lvov-- dark, old stones and a little tragic. I feel it. Could you put in a view of the small Holocaust memorial in Lvov and the Janowska camp memorial.? 110,000 Jews lived in Lvov at World War Two beginning and 200 or 300 at war's end , the missing thousands dead at the Belzec extermnation camp outside the city and Janowska camp within. Thank you Righteous Gentile.

  • My God, it's amazing!! It blows my mind away!

I'm going to Ukraine in 4 days!
