@astorbergonzoni your wrong because its technically faster.. but your comparison was stupid because your comparing two different class of cars. Its kinda like me comparing a formula 3 car to a formula 1. Or a 500cc bike to a 1000cc. The mines gtr and this topfuel s2k are from two different classes (open and street), with two completely different sets of rules and regulations...

@astorbergonzoni ...class record), while most of its competition can only manage 59s. That is 2 whole secs faster than its competitors. Now this s2k is an open class meaning the tuners can go all out, striping the car bare and with this car a crazy sequential gearbox. If you want to compare it to a gtr, look at the m speed gtr which is an open class car. The m speed has lapped tsukuba in 54s while topfuels s2k's best was 55s (FR record).

@astorbergonzoni uneducated comment... there are two broad categories for time attack; OPEN class and STREET class. Top fuel s2k is an open class car, while the mines gtr is street. Street class cars basically still have all their interior in tack, like carpet, sound deadener, rear seats, air con, power windows and even stereo, they also are able to get registered to be driven on normal streets. What makes the mine's so incredible is that it is capable of lapping tsukuba in 57s (street class...
