Artist Rob Pruitt originally made the move to New York because of Warhol and offers his own tribute to the famous artist via a 10-foot-tall chrome statue known simply as The Andy Monument.

The statue features Warhol, circa 1977 with contemporary dress including Levi's 501s, a Brooks Brothers tweed jacket, Polaroid camera around the neck and a Bloomingdales bag in one hand.

The site, New York's Union Square, is where Warhol set up his 2nd Factory in 1968. It was on the sixth floor of the Decker Building.

I for one, think it should be made a permanent fixture.
