It's Rachmaninovs' Italian polka G Flat Major.. Obviously Horowitz spin on it... Which is pretty decent, Arkadi volodos has a great version of this as well...

I suposse that he use Dim. Chords and Aug Chords, 9th and sus4 or 7th Chords of course disonances.

sorry I can't listen to this it is terrible of sound. I think Horrowitz would agree because he completely knew what was his Steinway sound.

The recording was made in 2003 on a welte-mignon piano roll (on a grand piano). As for when it was performed on the roll I will have to look that up but not enough time at the moment, I'll post it when I find out.
