**edit** as of 7/30/09 I no longer have this vehicle as this was a lease and I have returned the car. Since then I have purchased a brand new 2009 GMC Envoy

Word has it this car will have a short run in the '09-'10 model year.  As of this point I no longer have this car as it was a lease and I returned the car back to Chrysler since the lease was up. I now have a 2009 GMC Envoy

you know the 2008+ models have an upgraded 4.7 with more power.

@ISinisterI I kinda miss it, and I also had a '04 Grand Cherokee so at the time the lease was up on the Commander, I wanted something different, a bit smaller w/ a V6 so thats why I decided on the Envoy. I know the Envoy is an I-6, a great motor. Unfortunately GM stopped making after 09. I did read something awhile back about the 4.7L having more power, too bad Chrysler no longer makes the 4.7L, was also a good motor. Nowadays both Chrysler and GM use 3.6L V6's in most of thier applications

Sadly, this vehicle won't last much longer. Maybe until 2010 if we're lucky

@fanowner12 GM axed the Trailblazer and Envoy after the 09 model year so they too had a good run
