  • I would definitely recommend the marlin it's accurate and good value for money.

  • Is a .17 HMR good enough for coyote hunting?

  • @pagelock5 I dont know about coyotes but iv taken a few foxes out with it, some up to as far as 100 yards

  • what scope do you have on this gun??

  • less noise and recoil with the .17 and they aren't that expensive when compared to other rifle calibers, i can get them at walmart for around 15/50. When Im paying $32/40 for my .22-250. As for .223 being cheaper, the cheapest i can find around here is Tula at $5/ 20 rounds. Which is .25 cents a round, where the .17 is 30 cents. Holy shit, look at the savings. Plus, if you get .223 hunting rounds your looking at say Hornady Vmax. around $20/20 where the .17 is around $20/50.

  • @pagelock5 if you make a good, ethical shot then yes. Not with it at a dead sprint at 300yrds. I'd keep it within 200 for coyotes. Not saying it can't be done, just that i wouldn't.

  • @pagelock5 it would be plenty for coyote but its about your shot placement and bullet choice if your going for coyote with a 17 you would want to get a bullet with extreamly hight weight retention. or a bullet that holds together well if you go out with a vmax from hornady u will never se the coyote you shot again. idk if they make them but the best most distructive bullet on the market is barnes tsx or ttsx idk if you can get them in 17 or try swift scirsco bullets their good to

  • @pagelock5 yes easilly

  • A 223 will do anything and more what a 17 hmr will do, and the rounds r cheaper.

  • @pagelock5 according to youtube it is! lol

  • @pagelock5 No, they loose their energy very fast after 100 yards, and even point blank your bullet position would need to be perfect for a coyote. In many states its illegal.

  • @tractorman96 No. What part of what I said would make you ask that?

Y'know instead of being a cunt you could've just answered my question to help me out, I'm trying to get into shooting.

  • @Bullet4MyEnemy are you mentally retarted?

  • where the fuck do you get the d in pigeon from?

  • Why would U shoot at a fake pidgeon

  • @MrTheochris if you got the money, get a 220 swift, if you can find one lol but like you said 223. or 22-250

  • @pagelock5 use a 223 for cayotes or 22-250

  • @ilovehunting1996 all bullets start to drop the instance they leave the barrel. Its not like the bullets are granted immunity from the law of gravity for x amount of time after being fired..

  • Love the sonic boom!

  • how far can that shoot before the bullets start to drop

  • @pagelock5 the .17 is good for anything up to deer, specially spitfire rounds, just knocks em over.

  • Is a 'pidgeon' an Irish pigeon?

  • Are you in the UK? I've never heard of .17HMR before, or shooting guns like this outdoors for that matter.

Your accent is making it hard to figure out lol.

  • @libertyhillwarrior27 ur stupid 17 is perfect for coyotes , it takes them down easy and its very cheap

  • @pagelock5 no

  • I'm pretty sure it's spelt pigeon!!!

  • Yeooooo
