  • I have a question. I have case named Nexus Clodius. It uses power supply mounted on top of the case. So motherboard is under that. The radiator in this H80 looks a bit high, and im wondering does that block me using this set? Do you have an idea will it fit in my case ?

Thank you if you have time to respond or even read this! :)

  • @NahkeaTaata I'm not familiar with that exact case. However, the radiator on the H80 doesn't really take up more space that the 12CM fan hole. I've been able to fit the H80 into every top mounted PSU case that I've come across.

  • @auxnuke Thank you, maybe i have a try! Do you recomend this cooler for i5 750, overcloking will be +4Ghz. My current clock is 3,6Ghz with Cooler Master 212, and temps around 60-65-70 on full stress. On 4,2Ghz with 1,5V, temps are over 90 Celsius on full load, so my cooler does not have the power to cool it down.

  • @NahkeaTaata The Corsair H60 should suite your needs well. When using water cooling, the more air flow you can get over the radiator, the better the performance will be. Good luck!

  • 220 mm fans ?

  • @HansensUniverse The H80 comes with 120mm fans, not 220mm.

  • Just modded my GTX 480. I removed the factory heatsink (junk), and with a little dremel work was able to modify the plate to accept a Corsair h80. my idle temps went from 43c to 27c. My typical temps while gaming (BF3) went from around 77c down to 43c. I removed the factor applied thermal paste from the H80 and applied Arctic Silver 5. I also removed the factory installed vram thermal tape and applied Fujipoly Premium System Builder themal pads.

  • @Bey0ndKha0s1825 thanks :)

  • @TheAviator789 Awesomeness.

  • @manosman97 Well I set the target speed at 4.5 ghz. The cooler still keeps it under at least 30 degrees when its running hard.

  • @TheAviator789 Yeah, well older or more custom water coolers had an open tank you could fill. Are you telling me that it keeps your 2700K overclocked at 4.5Ghz at 25 degrees Celsius on full load?I've seen it's good, I've even bought it but they probably sent it to Pakistan stupid posts lol.

  • @manosman97 Thanks for the reply, Just taught because when you see other modders with their custom water coolers that's why they have their own reservoir, and over time you can see their water becomes murky which they change regularly. I decided to get the Corsair H80 for my i7 2700K . Have to say its doing a fantastic job, keeping it around 25 degrees while running at 4.5 ghz. Just want that level of performance to be consistent for years. Again thanks for the reply.

  • can u use the h80 i the cm enforcer case or does it take up to much spece?:)

  • @jakecooperful It is very easy to controll the fans as the CPU cooling unit has a switch on it that allows you to set the speed.

  • @TheAviator789 It can't get dirty or something because it's a closed circuit and it means it cannot be oppened to check the liquid but it also means nothing can get in.It has a 5-year guarantee so no need to worry about it.

  • Will I need to apply thermal paste to the CPU cooling thing and the CPU itself? Thanks.

  • Could i control the Fans with a Speed controler instead ?

  • Does anybody know how clean the liquid in the Corsair Coolers stays over the years. I mean you can't see how clean it is because its not transparent. Would it become murky over time ? Will this decrease cooling performance ?
