  • @MiHiVidz A bit of advise: don't take musical theatre as actual historical fact. The real Eva Peron bears almost no resemblance to the "Evita" in the musical.

  • @lz2rini Well, at least you give an argument that doesn't resort to cliches. I will add that most people outside of Argentina who say she is corrupt usually offer the musical as evidence, not aware that the musical is fictional. As for disregarding minority rights -- most regimes in Argentina disregarded MAJORITY rights and governed for the minority. This is why she was, and still is, so popular: she actually believed the majority should rule, even if they were poor, or female, etc.

  • @MickScarborough actually innovations like coronary bypass, fingerprint identification, ballpoint pens, and so on were created by Argentinian minds... some nice useful things if you ask me... i guess you need a little more stfu gringo puto

  • @Neelloc1973 google was invented...use it ...

  • @MickScarborough Seems to me to be more condescending to say a particular country hasn't contributed much to the world, than to simply write "Wow. Ok. Um...." (I wasn't condescending, by the way. I was expressing surprise that anyone who would click on this video would not have heard of her.)

  • @evitastories Wow no reason for the condescending "Wow. Ok. Um...." You do realize many people have no reason to know Argentine history. Its not like Argentina is much of a contribution to the world.

  • @G5r5C She was the first lady of Argentina.... she married the president (Juan Peron) at a very young age and since than, she had been helping people... in fact they really love her...

  • @Neelloc1973 Wow. Okay. Um.... She was the first lady of Argentina. Her husband, Juan Peron, was a revolutionary figure and so was she. Juan Peron, the husband of Eva Peron, has been referred to as the most important Latin American leader of the 20th Century. I wrote the Wikipedia article about Eva ("Evita") Peron.
