This is literally the very first time I've EVER flown an RC airplane, so it's not just the maiden flight for this plane, but for me too ! To be more specific, it's my first time out with it. This is about the 3rd flight I did. (First one I crashed in about 3 seconds because everytime I wanted to go left the plane went right ... there's a switch on the remote for that it turns out. 2nd flight I stayed in the air for about 30 seconds because the elevator trim was REALLY off and I wanted to fix it on the ground - I managed to land it safely and adjusted it)
The landing in this video is kinda rough, but nothing broke. I honestly expected to come back with the plane in pieces after this outing since it's my first time flying in real life. (I've always loved flight simulators though) I'm pretty sure the thick fluffy snow really helped) In reality, a small piece of the wing started unsticking which is why I stopped flying and brought it home. A couple drops of hot glue have already fixed that.
Many thanks to Vincent from AltitudeRC who helped me buy the right parts, gave me tricks while putting it together, and let me join him on one of his flights so I can see what flying an RC plane is like in real life.
I mean, does it resist snow well when it lands in it?

@streetsurfer133 Well I was just learning to fly then, so my landings where pretty rough. With that in mind, the generous cushion of soft snow was a great thing and it saved the plane I'm sure. Since this plane is made of some kinda foam, I'm not really worried about the water since it won't be on / in the snow for long.
