  • I just bought one of these guitars minus 3 of the pick ups.The search is on!!!!

    I love these guitars.

  • Holly cow!! I have one identical to this one! Even in it original case. Case not that nice anymore, but they guitar is in mint condition. Wonder how much it will be worth.

  • Hang on to your Teiscos!

I remember when these were regarded as "junk" not so long ago by guitar snobs.

Ive now got about half a dozen 60's Teisco's, and they are all wonderful things to play, and to listen to as well.

  • so many tones on this one. what an instrument!

  • I have 5 of these bad boys. 1 Kingston, 1 Teisco and 1 Zim-Gar in full working condition. 1 Kingston and 1 Zim-Gar in progress. Wish I could find a beautiful red one like that.

I buy everyone I see if it is priced right. The pups on these are friggin' amazing and they will appreciate nicely. Want more drive? Don't hit a pedal, turn on another PU. Teisco's best sounding effort hands down, better than my May Queens. Enjoy the heck out of it my friend.

  • Godzilla lives! I got a surf green one just like it. killer guitars, i dont think many people know how high quality the early teiscos are. solid honduras mahogany, brazillian rosewood board and four great sounding pickups. japan was really trying to compete with american companies.

  • I have an SS-2L, which is very similar except only 2 pickups. Paid $50 from a thrift store, not expecting much except maybe to hang it on the wall. Got it home, put some strings on it, plugged it in, and WOW, here comes this great sound out of my old Silvertone tube amp! I've bought and sold many guitars since, but I just can't bring myself to get rid of the old Teisco. I love it.

  • @surfneptune thanks man!!! i love the 4 mic you've got here!! very sweet tone!
