Houdini Puppy Escapes Crate

Our Yorkie puppy kept escaping from her crate and we couldn't figure out how. So we set up a camera and went for dinner. when we came back this is what we saw...

@lygophile apparently anything a dogs head can get through, its body can also get through. There ribs are very flexible, I'd be worried about him getting stuck half way.

You do realise crate training is helpful in the house training process, makes travel convenient, and also keeps the dog out of dangerous situations (puppies put everything in their mouths, stairs, etc) when it can't be supervised, right?

that's why an animal home is 'supposed' ot be OUTSIDE!!! animals DO NOT LIKE TO BE LOCKED UP IN CAGES, LET ALONE A HOUSE.
