Dandansoy - Traditional (arranged by Jose Valdez)

I posted another version earlier today but had to remove it because I realized I misread a note. According to the book, this is a simplified version. I wonder what the full version looks/sounds like. Another gem guised as a simple piece, it takes quite a bit of musicianship to pull this off. Without recognizing the ebbs and flows of the piece, it will sound bland and repetitive. I made sure to arpeggiate the chords (quickly, albeit) to emphasize the beat that goes with it. Anyway, this is my attempt to render a song I have never heard of.

Hi, Raffy......merong ibang version nyan si Michael Dadap at may tremolo improvisation....narinig ko ito noong late 1980's or early 90's...di ko na matandaan. Nakapa ko rin ang version nya noon at natugtog ko sa mga informal gatherings.....Maybe it will inspire you or get some useful techniques from Dadap's version.

hindi ko siguro matutugtog ng maayos ang isang piyesa kung d ko pa naririnig, pero hanga ako sa talento ng iba na i akma lahat at maayos na lumalabas ang kabuuan ng piyesa...
