Great show - loved the rapport you built.
You know what they say about Russian Roulette though don't you? If you're not 110% sure where the spike is, don't slam.
Lucky it wasn't a nail :). I am still a little confused as to how you got the spike - as a magician I am aware of many of the methods for Russian Roulette and smash n stab ect - If you were using the method I think you were, I don't understand why you hit the spike - would you mind PM'ing me what happened at that last minute?

wow I felt really bad for you when you hit the spike. And yes you deffo acquired very good rapport with the audience which it one of the most important things in magic. you could see the audience clearly had sympathy but i laughed when you asked if you hit the spike. Well done on your show anyways

Very good show! Liked it alot. I thought it was a raw egg under the cup. lol I'll tell you what you had the audiance in the palm of your hand my friend. Even though you failed, your act was a total success! Thought when you told your accomplice to hold your shoulder she was giving you a sign which cup to break. Guess i was wrong. Great success in the future!!

I was horrified that you hit the spike! But I thought you showed incredible courage to have taken the pain as well as you did, and your presentation was wonderful. You are very good!!
I also love magic I was pretty good I was doing birthday partys and shows when I was a teenager before I discovered liquor my thing was an escape arist magician anyway I Gota ask how bad did your hand hurt? I saw you clentch it a couple times it looked like it hurt but u played it off very well or what?

It didnt hurt that bad.
I made the spike myself and I used the softest wood I could find. The spike itself pretty much turned into a blunt stick and I just got a small indent with a fit of blood. I was mainly clenching the hand to prevent anyone from actually seeing the wound.
Thanks for watching

Hey man,
Great show! Watched all of it and thought it was awesome. I loved the subtle shift in the second act to a more serious presentation. It's a pity the show had to end how it did but rest assured, you handled it like a pro. Something that I noticed was that every single person in that audience wanted you to succeed. Pros take years to learn how to generate that kind of rapport.
Well done,
Mark

No problems, mate.
Out of curiousity, what is it that you want to do in the future? And do you see yourself continuing magic?

I plan to continue it as a hobby
but I really am into industrial design and commercialism
