The Democrats are not part of this "corporate" game. The Republicans are the ones who want to support the greedy corporate enterprises of the insurance company. We need the public option!

Democrats in office should not be lulled into the complacency that their supporters will not vote for independents or "third party" candidates due to some threat of helping along a Republican victory.
Indeed, such hesitancy by progressives to abandon this band of cowards is only going to keep diminishing, as the Republican party itself is already fracturing due to ideological divides (between those who are simply crooks and those who are just plain loony.)
