The U.S.-China relationship is complicated and is vital for both countries and the world. Where do Senators McCain and Obama stand on U.S.-China trade, security, environmental, and human rights issues? How important has policy toward China been in past elections and in 2008? These are the questions explored in a USC U.S.-China Institute documentary.

Chinese today enjoy great freedom in their everyday lives, but Americans of all political leanings express concern about Chinas human rights record. The Chinese governments suppression of demonstrations and riots in and near Tibet in March again focused attention on the issue, as did restrictions on demonstrations during the Olympic Games. Like his predecessors, President George W. Bush has met with Chinese political, religious, and labor rights activists and has called on Chinese authorities to do more to secure basic liberties. These criticisms and those of Bushs predecessors have had limited impact.

Falun Gong is the introduction book to Falun Gong and its reasonably short. The main Falun Gong book is called Zhuan Falun (which is about 360 pages) and that's where most of the knowledge can be gained from.

  • @ billychen13 Do you know about the 2009 Corruption Perceptions Index ? NZ score 9.4 rank 1 Hong Kong score 8.2 rank 8 Japan score 7.7 rank 17= United Kingdom 7.7 rank 17= United States score 7.5 rank 19 . In NZ we have proportional voting and as of about a week ago a 2nd Maori party with a seat in parliament. Proportional voting means that more people with talent are in govt. . The US seems to follow other countries on many things. They still have imperial units unless I'm mistaken.
  • @FalunGongIsAmazing What is it about, dont really have the time

  • @HumanRightsVideosT like I said human rights abuses r atrocious in China, due to 1 party authortarian system. Again the US isnt exactly a good model and they should be the last one to preach other about human rights, this is all about politics and nothing about human rights. you NEED to see beneth the surface of these political games.

If you read what Li Hongzhi writes you will gain lots of knowledge.

    .

You can download his writings from falundafa. org

  • @HumanRightsVideosT LOL @ u, are you like 15 or something? your views are overly simplistic, either that or all your world knowledge comes from the main stream media which equates to propaghanda. you would have a very different perspective if you knew a small fraction of modern history and geopolitics

  • @ billychen13

Obama met HH the Dalai Lama. If he didn't care about human rights he wouldn't have met him.

  • @HumanRightsVideosT ur missing the point, is there human right abuse in China? absolutely, does the US actually care about human rights? definitely not, are US politician a bunch of hypocrits? definitely
