Another of John Denver's masterpiece songs. Eagles and Horses is exquisite. John's
voice is also remarkable; as was his pure love, humble personality. We will all miss him,
but he left us such an infinite legacy. * And.......isn't it odd that he often sang of flying plus
scores of matters concerning the spirit of humanity, then died when his plane crashed? Taken too soon.... but he will NEVER be forgotten for the amazing individual he was.

I met John Denver back stage after his opening night at Harrahs Lake Tahoe Aug 1975. My wife was a pro freestyle skier that used his music in her routines and while walking to the show we ran into John Summers who recognized my wife. He arranged for us to meet JD and after the show we went back stage and spent about 30 minutes with him. Very, very social and as real can be. I have met many many celebs and none had a more profound effect on me than JD. A great man that made music for the ages.

I have loved JD forever (still have an 8 track of Country Roads) and had never heard this until today.... It is now my all time favorite song!!! This movie is at the top of my list as well!!
