  • @macpduf you're certainly not wrong! Beautiful, elegant and pleasing to the eye... Just a shame the the 'number crunchers' at British Airways didn't see it the same way as those who were lucky enough to fly on her or see her in flight..

  • The video was posted over 5 yrs ago and you're the first to comment regarding the title? Seems perfectly clear to me!!

  • Does it make me a bad person since i clicked here hoping to see a crash?

  • I think the Concorde should NEVER have been retired, that airplane could have flown for major airlines, like United, Delta, or Southwest Airlines, etc.

  • grounded the best ever passenger plane. Boeing and Airbus still flies even after so many crashes!

  • @markflack naww!! new joyzy!

  • I left a comment several minutes ago on another video, regarding this flight

My husband and I were driving on the new Jersey turnpike opposite NYC

He told me to look out the window.

i did, - and witnessed the most breathtakingly beautiful creations of mankind on it's final flight.

I had seen pictures of the Concord, but nothing was like seeing this magnificent creation lift into the sky - with my own eyes.

The C was supposed to herald the golden age of flight for mankind

    It's a heartbreak

  • *new york pilot vs south co-pilot* dont we need to ummm pull up?

    for get about!.. *crash*

  • @saints093 It was expensive, it was loud, it was fragile. People live under where those planes flew and they didn't like their windows being broken. You can see them now in museum.

  • I was the next plane behind the Concorde at JFK airport one time, flying as a passenger and the pilot pointed out the Concorde as it was about to take off. The engines were so powerful my jet shook from the blast of air. It also became airborne just seconds after the thrusters kicked in.

  • Still the most beautiful aircraft to have ever flown, doesn't even look dated now.

  • @saints093 Southwest servicing from KLAS-KLAX 737- 40 minutes Concord- 2 minutes.

  • @Ali74 That's understandable for the times, but I'm surprised that some carrier doesn't do private charter flights with them since I'm sure there are plenty people who would pay big money to just ride in one.
