Dad Marching On Veteran's Day Nov 11, 2011

This is my Father Marching in This Past November's Veteran's Day Nov 2011. It Seems Dad's been Marching in these things forever, I found out about it sometime in the 90's, but working bars back in the day, I never could make it out such Parades - Too Late Hours. Back in 2010 I made an attempt but missed him by minutes - I was Looking for where the folks in the parade went after & ended up Drinking in a Great Neck bar ( along with Marchers) with a dude who had actually recognized me from my High School Band Blue Fyre !!!
I Tried again for Memorial Day 2011 & got to hang out with Dad at the after Parade Gathering, but still missed the Parade.
WELL IN NOVEMBER I actually got to see my Dad March in one of these things, some 40 years later !!!
Having an appointment back here in the City, I filmed my Father & off into my Car ( with a short Visit to My Mother's House ) I went back to NYC.
Proud of him, and Happy to Finally see him March in a Parade.
