Voyager: Rendezvous with Neptune, 1989 TV Special
A special that examines the journey of NASA's Voyager 2 through space. Features computer-enhanced pictures of Neptune at closest encounter, photos of the small moons Voyager 2 discovered as it approached the planet; and high-resolution photographs of the moon Triton. Reviews the accomplishments of scientists, engineers and technicians who built and maintained Voyager over the years since it was launched in 1977. Carl Sagan joins fellow scientists in a discussion of the space mission and the future of space exploration.
