Wherein I discuss how to prepare one's living space ahead of time so that one is more comfortable and has everything one needs once bedridden. This is what I go through each month in preparation for what I call "downtime" - where I tend to be bedridden 2-4 days out of every month from the endometriosis pain. I realise not all women with endometriosis can benefit from this video - some suffer severe pain far more regularly than I do.

  • and waiting to run through my appointments. It is nice to get a reminder sometimes that we aren't the only ones going through this fun journey. There is nothing worse than your vagina hurting ;) .....and your back, your legs, your tampons... ugh.....

Thank you for the laugh. Very much appreciated!!

  • @irie1225 - you are welcome! When you have money or PPO insurance again, I encourage you to see a reproductive endocrinologist, or to find out who the endo specialists are in your area. You can also send your medical records to the Center for Endometriosis Care in Atlanta - I hear they review your records for free & provide advice on your next steps. Keep up the good fight until you get your surgical diagnosis - it's the only way to know how to proceed with continued pain management!

  • I wish I had a week without pain. I have been in horrible pain for 5 months straight non-stop 24/7 and even the meds my doctors gave me (tylenol #3, norcos, vicodin, darvocets, ibuprofin, etc.) don't work.....but I'm having my surgery on Feb 4th....can't wait.

  • @lillypad3320 - may your surgery go smoothly!

  • I completely LOVED this video. It was so fantastic and informative, not to mention funny. Thanks so much for making and sharing this!

  • Thank you so much for that! Needed it. Been having pain for years but couldnt get a doc to figure it out, like many women with endo: you get a few doors slammed in your face. My symptoms are completely disabling and I have been trying to get a proper diagnosis. It totally is endo- I would bet my left arm and so would my family physician. Lost my job and my medical insurance several months back and I have been on the journey to snag a diagnosis ever since. So I am just pilled up

  • @stephlwe thank you!

  • i SO should have watched this about 5days ago... it would have been just enough to push me to prepare (and eat better, yesterday because of lack of apitite, and nausia and lack of premade food i only consumed chocolate milk for 24hours)... even though i was feeling rough even then (not compared to now though)

Your video's really help, i dont get on here very often to look at them, but when i do, and i find new ones it helps. thank you!

  • I also like the way you emphasized that every endo patient is different and that this is what works for you. As you pointed out, endo symptoms are highly individualized. I'm sure it will help many others, though. :) Great tips!

  • This is an awesome video! I too appreciate your use of humor. I think endometriosis patients need humor to deal with this debilitating illness.
