I also have an 1100 that was handed down to me, and yes it is the most valuable gun that I would never sell.

It is a beautiful gun, and the stocks on the old models are so much better than the newer versions. It still shoots like a champ, but I prefer not to shoot it because it is such a beautiful gun. I just purchased a Remington Versa Max for hunting due to the versatility and reliability, since I already have a mantle piece.

I don't know if you've ever like shot that enough in one day to heat the barrel but I would think about putting a vented rib on that if all possible, it will keep the barrel more straight when it heats up

my grandpa just gave me his. those guns r so badass and fun to shoot. someone gives u one of those u never sell it or give it away unless u get old and give it to ur kids or something like that. other then that u keep that thing 4eve.
