I know, I know. I think I was feeling a little cranky when I made my above comment. It is interesting to speculate on the reasons behind the paintings.
By the way, have you seen the Lascaux virtual website, where you can actually walk thru the entire cave? If not, you have to check it out. It's amazing.

It's you that missed the point entirely of this video... you're not meant to take it seriously. However look at some graffiti some time (perhaps even the graffiti examples in the video) tags written over tags, art painted over art. Whether a person will get jacked or not for doing so is a meaningless point - it happens. Go see for yourself.

my point is that you dont know what your talking about.
i knew you were from the middle of no where... australia- no offense man, but this video really does miss the point...
have fun in australia.

...and your point is? Maybe you should get your face out of all those books and actually look at some real graffiti. You must live in a library where you can only read about the real world rather than experience it.

dunbass, here in brooklyn, if you paint over someone's tag, your gonna get jacked- that's what it's all about... again, get a book.
you must be from the middle of nowhere.
methinks you overthinks. What I love about the cave paintings is the proof that no matter what, there always have been and always will be artists. maybe there was some great spiritual significance, maybe they were just in the mood to create. Their very lives depended on the hunt, animals were their main interest, makes sense that animals are what they would draw. Do we really need reasons? why does all art have to MEAN something? Maybe it just looks nice and that's enuff.

@Dix994 I certainly agree with your sentiment completely. The bottom line on these particular cave paintings is that no one actually knows why they were created - just that they were. Anything more is just hypothesis. My video is not intended to be a serious comparison at all - hence the title and the fact that this video is categorized under 'comedy'.
