Hardline playing Hot Cherie Live at Gods 2002

Lyrics:
Been too long since the last rain
Still the stars sizzle hot in the sky
And there, undressed in the shadows
Stands my sweet Cherie hiding from July

And all night you kept me up, up all night
Hoping that I could make you mine

[Refrain:]
You're getting me hot, Cherie
I want what you've got all over me
Isn't my love strong enough
I'm ready to rock you long and rough
You're getting me hot, Cherie
I want what you've got all over me
I'm going crazy

I can't wait for October
When the breeze from the lake, she's blowing cold
Well maybe she'll need me for some shelter
When the campfire dies and the tall tales have been told

And all night I've been working overtime
Hoping that I could make you mine

[Refrain]

  • @brightmandan1966 there is a new album coming in about april

  • HOW ABOUT ANOTHER RECORD.... You had enough time off...

  • one of my favorite songs from my teen years

  • Id rather listen to this live, than all the fakers who uses sequencers to sing backup vocals.normally you dont mix them to high in the mix.......this is too loud.its a liveband.....can you do it better??????????????????????????????????????????????????

  • miss the hair haha, souding AWESOME tho

  • Fuck yea. killer tune grew up listening to the bands that had their ballads (NOT talking about the pussies that wore makeup

  • the singer looks like tom cruise LOL

  • tis a sin that this band is this obscure.they kick ass.

  • Many have criticized this incarnation of the band for the presence of the back-up singers & the absence of N. Schon. Allow me to add some balance. First: HL's original line-up, & several thereafter, featured players who could sing excellent back-up. Perhaps this line-up did not: hence, singers were added - good or bad - to fill out the sound. Second: Schon was never indispensable to HL. Not being a founder or main songwriter, his role in HL was not the same as in Journey or Bad English.

  • @ace2k707 Neal is in the band, you can see him playing drums lol
