Hey everyone! Thanks for stopping by!
Happy Lunar New Year!
Being Vietnamese my family and I celebrate the Lunar New Year (or Tet in Vietnamese). Every since i've gotten my Cricut E I've been making these wall hangs for my dad as decoration. It's pretty simple, displaying the traditional colors (red and gold) and a Cricut cut out of what looks like (at least to me) a hoa mai flower plant (traditional Vietnamese Tet decoration).
My camera ran out of batteries towards the end so you don't see me placing the flowers on with dimensionals, adding a thin red border around the yellow, and matting it onto a white mat board.
Also, please excuse the strange use of words... this is my first voiceover and it was a little strange, ha!
Since I make no mention whatsoever in the video, here's a list of the supplies I used!:
Metallic Gold & Red paper: American Crafts Christmas Foil 12x12
Brown paper: ReCollections
Adhesive: Scotch ATG and Tombow
Cricut Cartridge: Serenade Solutions Cartridge
White mat board: Something cheap from Hob Lob, can't remember!
(All of which, was purchased by myself!)
im also a rabbit!
