  • A lot of people who fought for welsh culture have been part english in Recent times......its all about the culture....its all very well being 100% welsh but if the culture is anglicised what does it mean? nothing

  • @3tangle3

A very confused post there. So English people have fought for 'Welsh culture', but since Welsh culture is now 'anglicized' why should anyone care. Strange notions indeed.

Anyway, its not all about 'the culture' particulrly; its all about the economy (and the politics), stupid!

  • @CymdeithasMynyddDu nope........there are people who have become welsh and speak the language who are not much welsh ancestry and I know quite a lot in East Wales.....first point.................second point is the welsh culture should not be lost as that is the nations soul...for then what are we fighting for....may aswell be english like parts have flintshire and east powys are becoming

  • @3tangle3

So you're an ethnically-minded Cultural Nationalist essentialist then?

  • NEVER FORGET THE 1942 CLEARANCES OF WELSH PEOPLE FROM MYNYDD YR EPYNT - now sickeningly used by the reservist army and rally cars "sennybridge training area"

  • @IamDaReAlSeaN A western atlantic union back to the days when the ancestors of the basques clawed and rowed there way into this island after the ice retreated

  • It's sad that I still hear more Urdu and Hindi when I walk the streets of Dublin than Irish, I was pleasantly shocked hearing Welsh being spoken when in Cardiff. Then again, Dubliners dislike Irish, they would look at me as if I had two heads if I said dia duit (hello in Irish). Leave the union, form an economic league with the rest of us Celts, wean our countries off our dependency on English and we will be free to pursue our own interests without being under another country's thumb

  • denis coslett was a true gentleman and patriot (rwyn yn llawn ffwythyneb denis yn disgrifio cayo ) and i was lucky enough to know him and drink with him at the red cow inn in bynea and also friends with his late son brychan ,

  • last of true welsh men ..Bruch,Ows and Dennis

  • Some good clips of Glyn Rowlands funeral, cofi'wn lone wolf

  • Magnificent, a great deal of work went into that. So many great friends, now departed, some living legends, and most promising of all, the new generation of patriots that will take our place. Cofiwn.

  • @CymdeithasMynyddDu funny thing if the anglo normans had never invaded....this area of biritain would still be rebelling/thinking itself unique from the low lands to the east..........these hills breed intelligent freedom fighters :)
