Парадоксально, но все мы говорим по-русски, и чем больше учим историю, тем больше споров о том, что и как было... А песня сама все покажет. Высоцкий же тоже писал песню с чьего-то рассказа, не по учебнику истории.

@schetin Да я не ревную, тем более что не явл 100% фанатом В.С. Речь о другом: чтобы реально понять В.С., надо учить русский язык и руссую историю 20 века. А вот, к примеру, чтобы понять Битлз, английский учить необязательно -- там текст примитивно-незатейливый. Несравнимый уровень глубины.

Перевели, как смогли ... И на том спасибо. Старались все же донести иноземцам слова и смысл одной из лучших русских песен. Иноземцы многого не поймут, но суть уловят. В общем, респект переводчикам. Ну и клип, конечно, очень хороший.
