"On The Move" Victoria & Richard Emprise

"On The Move" is the name of a category of stools designed by Victoria & Richard MacKenzie-Childs for their new works, VICTORIA & RICHARD EMPRISE. The stools in this wee movie are the sub-collection, called "One Sq. Foot ~ Stool" , which come in several upholstery renderings.

We, had so much fun making this little movie. It was the first we made outside of the ferryboat . . . on the open fields of our old homestead in King Ferry, NY. It does not show the stools in their function for the feet, but we certainly had fun with "On The Move" as a very practical concept, in deed!

Wittika & Felix are so much fun to play with, and, as can be seen here, . . . they get the concept of the play, the beauty, the joy, and THAT is the true function of heart which all Victoria & RIchard MacKenzie-Childs' designs refer to and call us home . . . to Live.

Owning one, of several of these "One Sq. Foot ~ Stools" is the exclamation point at the end of an over stuffed chair, which says, with a wee squeak, "Welcome Home" . . . followed by a wink.
