Songkran water fights and Thai New Year party 2009 in Chiang Mai Thailand

I did this video on April 12, 2009. The party started around noon and I went home around 4PM. It starts out slow but loads of water throwing, dancing, partying and fun by the time I left. Great Essan Music also. This was taken in the bar and pub area of Chiang Mai at a local hang out called Easy Bar. Enjoy.

Went there last night and it is the same place. Danced to essan music with the girls for a few hours, I did not know her other name is Jin. It makes sense as she loves drinking gin. I just knew her by her Thai name Duan.

good stuff songkrahn good time iv only ever been patong for songkrahn witch is wild so so many bars. and this video been taking in loi koh road. iv never been chiang mai for water war. but my thai frineds say its number 1 in thailand and it go,s on longer in chiang mai but they dont have so many bars
