April 1988. Mark Russell does another of his famous "Buffalo Polls", and it's a dead heat between Bush & Dukakis. Mark ponders the $2 trillion national debt, and muses how Germany, Japan & the U.S. turned around their economies after the Great Depression. Mark sings about embattled Attorney General Ed Meese & the Wedtech scandal, and closes with a musical plea for indicted Iran-Contra co-conspirator Albert Hakim.
No doubt about it--- Mark Russell was on the very top of his game throughout this entire episode (all three parts).
