I do understand some of your anxiety, taking a new med can be scary. Yet i cringe because I have taken gleevec 10mgs for three years and I think it kept me from progressing, aka saved my arse. I will pray for you for sure though!

I have been taking it for about 6 years I have found chopping up some organic ginger really helps with the nausea big time.

i ve been taking gleevec also since 27/12/2010 and in the past three weeks my doctor informs me that theres a chance that i will stop the treatment because of the positive results that im having( my blood film tests are giving a 0% a negative result of the philadelphia chromose which is wonderful) ^^ so yes this drug is magic :p keep up with it beleive me and goodluck.
