'Twas the Night Before your Christmas Party

Twas the night before your Christmas party and all through the kitchen
TC workers were stirring the soups, sauces and chicken
Order sheets were hung on the bulletin board with care
In hopes that your event hour soon would be there

Your guests were at home all snug in their beds
While visions of holiday food danced in their heads
And chefs in their aprons and cooks in their caps
Had just settled down to make turkey wraps

When all of a sudden, there rose such a time
With bartenders, servers and supervisors in their prime
Who loaded the trucks with plates, tables, chairs
Chafars and place settings tied off in pairs

The road lightly dusted with newly fallen snow
Couldn't hide the way their fair trucks should go
And what to your wondering eyes should appear
Was a bright green sleigh drawing ever so near

As the sleigh drew close and pulled into the lot
It turned in with grace to the perfect parking spot
With a debonair driver so full of holiday cheer
You knew at once Tasty Catering must be here

You rise from your desk as they empty their truck
To share the good news, you can't believe your luck!
The holiday party will begin quite soon
Look, they're wheeling the carts full of food to the room!

They're dressed in all black from their head to their feet
And they have with them dishes of veggies and meat
With pastas and puddings and salads galore
You're shocked when they go back to the truck for some more

It doesn't take long for the servers to stop
And the chefs to appear in their aprons to chop
They start pouring drinks, the food's a la carte
It looks like your Holiday party can start!
