  • It's not a matter of taxing "large" corporations or "rich" people. It's about ALL entities in Oregon with the means contributing to the commons; schools, roads, social services, etc.

    Raising the 1931 minimum tax from ten bucks to $150 is a no-brainer and not a remedy for large corporations. Either we raise the top marginal rates by 2% on higher earning individuals and businesses (M66/67) or we get it from the poor and middle class which can't afford more.

  • I agree with taxing the large corporations, but part of the bill is to tax households that make over 250,000. This means doctors,lawyers and so on. I do not believe it is fair to tax these people of ability more than others.
