Subscriber requested and a family favorite! This recipe is a Chinese-American dish found in restaurants here in the U.S. Can also be used with Lobster as in Lobster Cantonese Style. The sauce is very tasty over white rice, Enjoy!!

  • I made this last night for dinner. It was outstanding! Thank you for the video :). I'm making your hot & sour soup tonight.

  • @mayaaln - thank you for the positive comments! And good luck w/ the hot & sour soup.. :-)

  • It is called lobster sauce because it is the same sauce that is used on lobster cantonese

  • thanks! by the way, you said 1 table spoon of corn starch and some water? how much water? just enough to dissolve the corn starch? (:

  • @janeeDx3 - add just enough to turn the dry cornstarch the consistency of thin syrup, a heaping tbsp of dry cornstarch and then just a little water. Thanks for watching and enjoy!!

  • By God you're right, it is 100% authentic formica! We spent all the money on the cabinets and couldn't afford granite! Thanks for watching and you're welcome!

  • Seems like a great recipe but I only use the egg white, all recipe's for this dish seem to agree there.. also I like mine with peas, but otherwise a great recipe.

  • Absolutely wonderful! I will be trying other recipes that you post .The Roast Pork was wonderful too, as was the Fried Rice. . I have made room for my laptop/tablet on the kitchen counter for future dinners thanks to you. My only "problem" is that I wish you posted all of the ingredients. I had to watch some portions over and over to make sure I din't miss anything. Regardless...THANKS!

  • Why is it called lobster sauce?

  • I like how u say were gonna put about a tablespoon of salt, and then proceed to dump half the fucking carton in lol
