this is misrepresentation ... 'Heather' would use the incredibly expensive WebSphere to publish her sisters static webpages??? This has nothing to do with Web 2.0 ... IBM is really messing things up here.
The worry is that an implementation of Web 2.0 will just be some Ajax and JavaScript. It looks like we've gone beyond that, which is good.
The true test will be how good the development tools are that allow developers to produce content that incorporates these new interface designs.
Without any support for such Web 2.0 features in JSR168 or JSR286, I sure do hope WebSphere and Rational tools will make this easy - easier than implementing C2A and PortletServices for sure!
