This is a demonstration of a garland drill performed on slalom skis (168cm). First I perform a few short turns in the fall line and then I get into "3 by 3 gralands".
This drill progression requires quickness, well-executed pole plant, proper re-centering timing. Stable upper body is always a key to good slalom turns.
I use this drill extensively when working on slalom technique in free skiing.
